Dr. Roman Hilgers

Dr. Roman Hilgers has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple sectors. Dr. Roman started their career as a Production Assistant/Controlling Assistant at Prym Fashion GmbH in 2005, followed by a short stint as a Systems Engineer at Airbus in 2006. In 2007, they joined BMW Group UK Limited as a Dealer Marketing Assistant. From 2009 to 2010, they worked at Arthur D. Little as a Visiting Associate. Dr. Roman then transitioned to The Boston Consulting Group as a Consultant, where they worked from 2010 to 2016. In 2016, Dr. Hilgers joined MAN Track & Bus SE, initially as a Senior Manager Strategy and later as Head of Strategy & Sustainability. Dr. Roman then took on the role of Head of Next Generation Sales before assuming their current position as Head of E-Mobility Sales & Services.

Dr. Roman Hilgers earned a Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) from 2004 to 2010. Dr. Roman then pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from 2013 to 2015 at The University of Göttingen. Additionally, they briefly studied at the University of Adelaide in 2010 and the Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires in 2008.
