Lukas Walter

Lukas Walter has extensive work experience in the engineering and automotive industry. Lukas started their career in 1999 as a Skill Team Leader at AVL Powertrain Engineering Inc. From 2004 to 2010, they served as the Managing Director at AVL Autokut Engineering Kft. Later, they held the role of Project Manager at AVL List GmbH. From 2010 to 2017, Lukas Walter served as the Vice President of Commercial Powertrain Systems at AVL. In 2018, they joined AVL List GmbH as an Executive Vice President. Currently, they are working as the Senior Vice President of Engineering Truck at MAN Truck & Bus SE.

Lukas Walter obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from TGM Vienna Engineering School in 1989. Lukas then went on to complete their Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in Vehicle Engineering, at Technical University Vienna from 1990 to 2006.
