Darrel Yawitch

Darrel Yawitch has a comprehensive work experience in the financial industry. Darrel started their career at Investec in 1998 as a Risk Manager and stayed with the company until 2007. Darrel then joined GLG Partners as a Risk Manager from September 2011 to April 2014. In 2009, Yawitch became a Principal at Cast-Iron Consulting, where they worked until March 2015. Darrel then transitioned to Man AHL, where they served as Chief Risk Officer from May 2014 to January 2017. From January 2017 to October 2020, Yawitch took on the role of Chief Risk Officer at Man AHL/GLG/MSL. Most recently, they have become Chief Risk Officer for Investments at Man Group starting in October 2020.

Darrel Yawitch completed their education with a PhD in Theoretical Physics from King's College London between 2008 and 2011. Prior to that, they obtained an MSc in Quantum Fields and Fundamental Forces from Imperial College London in 2007-2008. Furthermore, they hold a Fellowship from the Faculty of Actuaries, obtained in 1999.
