Tim Mace

Tim Mace's work experience includes roles at Man Group, Aspect Capital, and Detica Limited. At Man Group, they served as the Managing Director and Head of Data and Machine Learning, responsible for data sourcing, management, science, and technology platform. Tim also held the role of Managing Director and Head of Alpha Platform, overseeing the quant platform used by investment teams. Prior to that, Tim worked as Principal Engineer and Head of Data Engineering. At Aspect Capital, they were the Director of Research Technology, leading a team of software developers and data engineers. Tim also served as the Head of Quantitative Development and Senior Developer at the company. Tim's earlier experience includes working as a Principal Consultant at Detica Limited.

Tim Mace attended the University of Bristol from 1998 to 2002, where they obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Tim also holds additional certifications in Machine Learning and Neural Networks and Deep Learning from Coursera. Furthermore, Tim is a member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) with the designation of MIET.
