Tushara Fernando

Tushara Fernando is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in the finance sector. Currently serving as Managing Director and Head of Enterprise Engineering at Man Group since February 2025, Tushara previously held the position of Head of Fast Trading Technology at Man AHL from October 2021 to February 2025. Prior roles include Executive Director and Head of Portfolio Construction Technology for Fixed Income, as well as Head of Core Platforms at Goldman Sachs from September 2015 to October 2021. Tushara began the career as a Senior Technical Consultant at Excelian from February 2014 to September 2015 and worked in IMD Sales Technology at Barclays Investment Bank between May 2012 and May 2014. Tushara holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from The University of Manchester, completed in 2012, and attended Bury Grammar School and Edenfield CE School prior to that.
