Kimberly Young

Kimberly Young has a diverse work experience, spanning across various industries and roles. Kimberly started their career as a Reader at Barnstorm, where they assessed submissions for publication. Later, they worked as a Communications Intern at Big Brothers Big Sisters of New Hampshire.

Kimberly then ventured into education, working as a Teaching Assistant at the University of New Hampshire. Kimberly taught subjects like reading, writing, math, and study skills to students grades K-12. Additionally, they served as a McNair Scholars Program Writing Specialist during their time at the university.

Following that, Kimberly joined the Office of the State Auditor Suzanne M. Bump as a Staff Editor. In this role, they provided editorial assistance for reports while ensuring consistency, logical flow, and unity.

Kimberly then transitioned to Salem Five Bank, where they held the position of Senior Learning Specialist. Here, they focused on designing and delivering training programs for the bank's employees.

Most recently, Kimberly joined Managed Care Advisors (MCA) as a Corporate Trainer. In this role, they collaborate with internal staff to address training needs, develops training material, and serves as a subject matter expert for internal stakeholders.

Kimberly Young has a strong educational background in literature and secondary education. Kimberly obtained a Master's degree in Literature from the University of New Hampshire from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education and Teaching at the University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown from 2005 to 2009. Kimberly also has a High School Diploma from Windber Area High School. In addition to their formal education, Kimberly has acquired several certifications including the Confluence Fundamentals Badge and Jira Fundamentals Badge from Atlassian in June 2023. Kimberly also holds a certificate in Creating Leadership Development Programs from the Association for Talent Development (ATD) obtained in May 2020.
