Samantha Whittington-Alston has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Samantha started their career in 2000 as a Medical Record Analyst at Southern Maryland Hospital, where they gained knowledge of medical record procedures and performed data retrieval functions. In 2005, they joined IAP Worldwide Services and served as a Medical Record Technician, responsible for maintaining custody of outpatient medical records and ensuring their format and completeness. Samantha then worked at Serco as a Medical Record Technician, registering patients and scanning medical documents. Samantha later joined Vesa Health & Technology, Inc. as a Medical Record Technician, where they prioritized requests for medical record copies and ensured compliance with legal requirements. Currently, Samantha is employed at Managed Care Advisors as a Client Services Coordinator, assisting with client meetings and providing support services in a timely and accurate manner. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated strong organizational and administrative skills in managing medical records and supporting clinical teams.
