Jeffrey Himstreet

Jeffrey Himstreet has a diverse work experience in the legal and regulatory fields. Jeffrey started their career as an Attorney at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission from 1998 to 2000. Jeffrey then worked as an Associate and later Partner at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, where they advised advisers and funds on regulatory matters and represented clients in investigations by regulatory authorities.

After that, Himstreet served as the Chief Legal Officer at BMO Wealth Management - U.S., overseeing legal, compliance, and risk management functions for all wealth management business lines. Jeffrey then joined Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc. as VP & Group Counsel, where they provided legal support for managed products, financial planning, and implementation of regulatory requirements.

Jeffrey later joined CIT as a Senior Regulatory Counsel and then moved on to PGIM Fixed Income as VP and Corporate Counsel. At PGIM Fixed Income, they were responsible for legal and regulatory matters, focusing on derivatives and investment adviser issues.

Himstreet also had experience as Counsel at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP and as a Member of the Board of Directors at the National Society of Compliance Professionals. Most recently, they held the role of Vice President, Senior Counsel, Regulatory Affairs at the Managed Funds Association.

Jeffrey Himstreet started their education in 1985 at Willamette University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Political Science and English. Jeffrey completed their undergraduate studies in 1989. Following this, between the years 1990 and 1993, Himstreet attended Willamette University College of Law, where they obtained a Doctor of Law (JD) degree with a focus on corporate and securities law. Continuing their academic journey, Himstreet enrolled at Georgetown University Law Center, where they pursued a Master of Laws (LLM) degree in Securities and Financial Services Regulation from 1996 to 1998.
