Michelle Barry is an experienced financial services executive currently serving as President & CEO of Transamerica Financial Advisors, Inc., since February 2024. Previously, as President of Grove Point Financial, Michelle Barry successfully led a turnaround for the wealth management firm that supported 500 advisors and managed $15 billion in assets. Prior leadership roles include President & CEO at Hornor, Townsend & Kent, where operations supported over 1,000 financial advisors, and Vice President at Penn Mutual, where critical operational departments enhanced advisor support. Michelle Barry’s career also includes leadership at Ameritas Investment Corp/The Advisor Group and Salomon Smith Barney, complemented by an MBA in Finance from Fordham Gabelli School of Business, an MSM in Leadership from The American College of Financial Services, and a BS in Marketing from the University of Scranton.
