Daniel Rieger

Daniel Rieger has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Daniel currently serves as the Director of Digital Strategy and Innovation at MedPro Healthcare Staffing. Prior to this, they worked at the Information Services Agency - City of Indianapolis & Marion County, where they held multiple positions, including Deputy Director - IT Strategy, Project Services Manager, and Business Services Consultant. In these roles, they oversaw IT strategy development, managed the creation of the city's Project Management Office, and provided technology consultation to key internal customers. Before that, they worked as a Project Manager at Sondhi Solutions and as a Technical Writer and Team Lead at Advanced Testing Laboratory. Daniel began their career as a Writer at Precisely Write.

Daniel Rieger is currently a PhD Candidate in Business (Information Management) at Tilburg University, a position they have held since 2021 and is expected to complete in 2026. Prior to that, they obtained an MS degree in Information & Knowledge Strategy from Columbia University in 2020. In 2007, they completed an MA degree in Philosophy at Indiana University Indianapolis, and in 2006 they obtained a BA degree in Philosophy from the University of Michigan.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Daniel has obtained several certifications throughout their career. These include becoming an Innovation Practitioner from GIANT Innovation in 2023, a Six Sigma Green Belt from the City of Indianapolis in 2017, an ITIL Foundation certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice in 2015, and a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in November 2017.
