Rabia Sucu is a Senior Principal Technical Advisor at Management Sciences for Health, leading strategic health policy initiatives and collaborations in low and middle-income countries since October 2018. As President of Health Technology Assessment International (HTAi) since June 2014, Rabia drives global advocacy for the adoption of health technology assessment in healthcare systems while facilitating international collaborations. In addition to serving as Chair of the Eurasian Health Technology Assessment Initiative, overseeing knowledge exchange and research collaborations among nine countries since March 2015, Rabia has also held positions as Associate Professor and Deputy Clinical Chief in Family Medicine at Ankara Numune Training and Research Hospital, where extensive mentorship and research leadership resulted in over 100 trained residents. Rabia’s educational background includes an M.D. from Hacettepe University and an MSc in Health Technology Assessment and Management from Universita Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, along with additional qualifications in family medicine and healthcare management.
