Leah Buffington

Leah Buffington has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Leah currently holds the position of Operations Manager at Management Solutions, where they oversee performance management and consulting services. Prior to this, they worked as a Program Manager at Graduate & Executive Education at the Haslam College of Business, where they managed the operations and delivery of the Executive MBA for Healthcare Leadership program. Before that, they served as a Special Programs Coordinator at the Tickle College of Engineering at the University of Tennessee for four years. Leah also had an administrative role as an Administrative Coordinator at the same institution from 2012 to 2017. In the earlier stages of their career, they worked at the Mississippi Department of Human Services as a Special Projects Officer IV and Executive Assistant.

Leah Buffington is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Higher Education Administration at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, pursuing their doctoral degree. Leah started their Ph.D. program in 2018 and is expected to complete it in 2023.

Prior to their Ph.D., Leah obtained a Master's Degree in Public Policy and Administration from Mississippi State University. Leah attended Mississippi State University from 2009 to 2011.

Leah also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Communication and Media Studies, which they obtained from Mississippi College. Leah attended Mississippi College from 2002 to 2004.

Furthermore, Leah has an Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from Jones College. Leah completed their associate's degree program at Jones College from 2000 to 2002.

In addition to their formal education, Leah has obtained additional certifications. Leah has completed the Social and Behavioral Research - Basic/Refresher certification from the CITI Program, which was obtained in November 2022. Moreover, they have obtained the Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) certification from the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP), although the specific month and year of obtaining this certification are not provided.
