Kevin Bronsdijk

Kevin Bronsdijk has a strong background in software engineering and leadership roles. Kevin is currently the Director of Engineering at Manatal since October 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Software Engineering Manager at Opn from February 2022 to October 2022. In this role, they were responsible for planning, executing, and delivering new products, as well as scaling a team of software engineers.

Before joining Opn, Kevin worked at Agoda as a Technical Lead from December 2019 to February 2022. In this position, they collaborated with product, tech, and business leaders to determine the roadmap and deliverables. Kevin also mentored and coached the team while contributing to the adoption of strong software architecture and development best practices. Prior to this role, they served as a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer at Agoda from October 2016 to December 2019, where they worked on the agoda.com/homes platform using various technologies.

Earlier in their career, Kevin worked as a Software Engineer at RWS Group from June 2010 to August 2016, focusing on developing and maintaining the SDL WCMS kernel. Kevin also worked as a Software Engineer at Macaw from December 2007 to May 2010, where they implemented redundant systems and monitored database performance. Additionally, they worked as a Software Engineer at KPN from December 2006 to November 2007, specializing in client and middle tier component development. Their first software engineering role was at Kantar Millward Brown from November 2003 to November 2006, where they developed client and server components.

Kevin Bronsdijk obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information and Communication Technology from the University of Amsterdam. In addition to their degree, they have earned various certifications including Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, and Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals. These certifications were obtained in November and December of 2020 from Microsoft and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
