Anita Famili

Anita Famili is a Partner and Department Lead at Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP, specializing in the Real Estate Transactions & Finance practice since March 2013. Anita represents various stakeholders, such as owners, developers, and investors, in financing and investment transactions, and serves as outside general counsel. Additionally, Anita is the head of the Cannabis and CBD practice, with extensive experience in cannabis-related transactions. Since November 2019, Anita has been an Executive Committee Member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association Cannabis Section, overseeing its policies and affairs. Anita has also contributed to the UC Irvine Interdisciplinary Cannabis Center's Strategic Planning and Legal Advisory Committees from May 2017 to August 2022. Previously, Anita was Counsel at O'Melveny & Myers LLP from 2001 to 2013 and obtained their law degree from USC Gould School of Law.
