Awais Khalid

Awais Khalid is a financial professional with diverse experience in accounting and inventory management. Currently serving as a Financial Accountant at Manatū Taonga Ministry for Culture and Heritage since January 2023, Awais previously held the role of CX - Accounting Specialist at Xero from May 2021 to January 2023. Awais also worked as an Inventory Audit Supervisor at RGIS, LLC, from July 2018 to April 2021, where responsibilities included supervising a team conducting inventory audits, collaborating with external auditors, identifying control gaps, and generating stock reports. Awais began the professional journey as an Inventory Auditor, utilizing technology to monitor inventory accuracy. Awais holds a Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, currently in progress, and a Bachelor of Business in Accounting from Auckland Institute of Studies.
