Manchester Adult Education
Kathyn Johnston is the current MAES Governor at Manchester Adult Education. Kathyn has worked as a tutor for The Manchester College, where they worked with high-risk male offenders in both custody and probation hostels, teaching English, Maths, IT, ESOL, art, gardening, and cooking. Kathyn won a NOMS innovation award for developing the First Weeks Out programme and was judged to be an outstanding tutor by OFSTED.
Prior to their work at The Manchester College, Johnston worked as a graphic designer for Rachel O'Dowd Design from July 1990 to March 2013.
