Board Member - Making Manchester Fairer Programme at Manchester City Council

Mitesh Mistry has extensive experience in policy development within the education sector, currently serving as the Head of Early Years PDP and previously as the Early Years Covid-19 Response Lead for the Department for Education since August 2016. Additionally, Mitesh holds a position as a board member for the Making Manchester Fairer Programme with Manchester City Council since July 2023. Earlier roles include serving as Executive Secretary for the Bradford South Constituency Labour Party and a Policy Intern at the Embassy of the Dominican Republic in the Netherlands. Mitesh's educational background includes a Master's degree in Public Policy from Queen Mary University of London, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Sheffield Hallam University. Further academic credentials consist of studies at King's College London and The Hague University of Applied Sciences, coupled with GCSEs and A Levels from Dixons City Technology College.
