Diego Restrepo

Diego Restrepo is a highly experienced goalkeeper coach currently serving as the Women's 1st Team Goalkeeper Coach at Manchester City Football Club and the Women's Senior National Team Goalkeeper Coach for the Football Association of Wales. Previously, Diego led goalkeeping initiatives at Bay FC, D.C. United, and Austin FC, where the role included Head of Academy Goalkeeping. An accomplished player, Diego received accolades such as the 2017 USL Goalkeeper of the Year and was named to the 2017 USL Best Eleven. Diego's playing career includes tenures at various clubs, achieving significant recognitions such as "US Open Cup Lower Division Player of the Tournament" with Fort Lauderdale Strikers and multiple "Man of the Match" awards during the time with Metropolitanos FC. Diego holds two UEFA B Licenses and has a degree from the University of Virginia.
