Anthony Bates

Anthony Bates has extensive work experience in the field of football analysis. Anthony began their career as a Video Technician at Blackburn Rovers Football Club in January 2014 and held the position until October 2015. Anthony then worked as a U21 Performance Analyst from October 2015 to November 2016. Afterwards, they transitioned to the role of Opposition Analyst from November 2016 to January 2018. From January 2018 to August 2022, Bates served as the First Team Technical Recruitment Analyst at Blackburn Rovers. Currently, they are employed as a Recruitment Analyst at Manchester United, starting from August 2022.

Anthony Bates attended the University of Cumbria from 2010 to 2013, studying Sport and Exercise Science. Before their university education, they attended Castlebrook High School. Additionally, in November 2022, they obtained a certification in FA Talent ID Level 2 from The Football Association.
