Chris S

Chris S has extensive work experience in the field of data operations, analytics, machine learning, and project management. They started their career as a Student Biostatistician at Covance in 2014, gaining proficiency in various statistical analysis techniques used in the CRO industry.

In 2016, Chris joined DXC Technology as an Associate Consultant, where they implemented new IT approaches to improve patient flow and trained healthcare professionals in using technology effectively. They later took on roles as a Data Analyst, Project Manager, and finally as a Data Scientist, utilizing both qualitative and quantitative methods of analysis to provide consolidated summaries and mitigation opportunities for contracts and exposures.

Moving forward, Chris joined Arcadis Gen in 2019 as an Analytics Specialist, focusing on advanced data analytics techniques. Following this, they worked as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer and Lead Engineer at N Brown Group, acquiring expertise in developing and leading machine learning models and engineering projects.

Currently, Chris holds the position of Head of Data Operations (Football) at Manchester United, where they oversee data operations in the football industry.

Chris S obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from Sheffield Hallam University, where they studied from 2012 to 2016. They later pursued a Master's degree in Statistics at The University of Sheffield from 2019 to 2022. In addition to their formal education, Chris obtained the HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate certification from HashiCorp in September 2021 and completed the Learn Go Course at Codecademy in January 2021.
