Women’s Social Media Content Creator at Manchester United

Lucy W. has a diverse background in the sports industry, starting with a public relations internship at Manchester United in 2019. Lucy then worked as a football journalist at Manchester Evening News, gaining recognition for one of their articles. Lucy also served as a match day media assistant at Stoke City Football Club, where they managed social media accounts and conducted player interviews. Lucy W. later joined Sandbach United Ladies FC as a social media editor, successfully growing their online presence and writing match reports. Lucy then worked at Nike as a sales associate, where they developed customer service and brand awareness skills. In 2021, Lucy W. became a sport broadcast journalist at BBC before joining Stoke City Football Club as a media assistant. Most recently, they joined Manchester United as a women's social media content creator in 2023.

Lucy W. began their education at Congleton High School in 2010 and graduated in 2015. Lucy then went on to attend Congleton High School Sixth Form from 2015 to 2017, where they completed their A Levels in Sociology, Psychology, and History.

In 2017, Lucy enrolled at Staffordshire University and pursued a Bachelor's degree in Sports PR and Journalism. Lucy successfully completed their degree in 2020.

Additionally, in May 2016, Lucy obtained the Bronze Duke of Edinburgh certification from The Duke of Edinburgh's Award institution.
