Michael Sup

Michael Sup, Ph. D, currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Instruction in the Department of Recreation, Sport Pedagogy and Consumer Sciences at Ohio University since August 2023. As a co-founder of Beyond Pulse, Michael has contributed to the development of an innovative Sports Coaching EdTech system that enhances team development through wearable technology. Additionally, Michael has been a Soccer Schools Youth Coach with Manchester United since 2011, focusing on inspiring participants in football through the club's philosophy. Involvement with A Voice of Central Americans (AVOCA) as a volunteer board member highlights a commitment to social and environmental initiatives. Previous positions include consulting for Coaches Across Continents, operational leadership with Super Soccer Stars, and various academic roles at Ohio University, including adjunct professor and assistant coordinator for a specialized online master's degree program. Michael holds a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Sport & Development from Ohio University, along with a Master's degree in Recreation and Sport Sciences and a Bachelor's degree in Sport Management.
