Steve Higham

Steve Higham has a comprehensive background in the sports industry, with a focus on academy operations. Steve currently holds the position of Head of Academy Operations at Manchester United, a role they have held since September 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Academy Operations Manager at Manchester United from November 2019 to July 2023. Before joining Manchester United, Steve was the Academy Performance Director & Head of Operations at Crystal Palace Football Club from January 2017 to August 2018. Preceding their time at Crystal Palace, they held various roles at The Premier League, including Head of Youth Operations from July 2013 to January 2017. Additionally, they served as the Youth Administration Manager from August 2008 to July 2013 and the Games Programme Officer from October 2004 to August 2008. Steve's early experience in the industry includes a role as an Academy Coordinator at Everton Football Club from June 2002 to October 2004.
