Brian Karr has held a variety of executive-level positions in the finance and operations fields since 1990. Brian began their career as a Business Analyst for Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. in 1990, followed by a role as Finance Manager for Ford Motor Company in 1995. In 1998, they became the Chief Financial Officer for Ford Vietnam Ltd., where they had P&L responsibility for Ford's manufacturing and sales operation. In 2000, they took on the role of Manufacturing Controller for Cisco. From 2001-2007, they served as Chief Operating Officer and Finance Executive for Keeco, LLC, where they executed a highly successful turnaround of a $150M PE-backed business at risk of bankruptcy. In 2007, they became Chief Financial Officer and Operations Executive for Intrax Cultural Exchange, where they rearchitected the go-to-market strategy and achieved 30% growth. From 2010-2013, they were Chief Financial Officer and Operations Executive for Transpac Imports, Inc. and from 2013-2020, they were Chief Operating Officer and Finance Executive for Mariani Packing Co., Inc., where they developed and executed a multi-year strategic plan for a $250M leading consumer products manufacturer. Most recently, they have been Chief Financial Officer for Mancini's Sleepworld since 2020.
Brian Karr has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Harvard Business School in Business Administration and Management, General. Brian also has a degree in Japanese language studies from the Inter University Center for Japanese Language Studies. Additionally, they have a B.A. with Distinction and a Bachelor of Arts - BA from Stanford University in International Relations and Affairs.
