Daniel Calvo Carrasco

Daniel Calvo Carrasco is an experienced veterinarian specializing in exotic pet, zoo, and wildlife medicine. Currently serving as the Assistant Vice President of Veterinary Healthcare at Mandai Wildlife Group, Daniel also works as a consultant for Virtual Veterinary Specialists and holds the position of external examiner for the BVM&S Integrated Clinical Course (Exotics) at The University of Edinburgh. Daniel has a diverse background, including roles as an exotic pet consultant at Southfields Veterinary Specialists and veterinary pathologist at the Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust. With extensive training, including residency in avian medicine at Great Western Exotics and multiple externships in various veterinary specialties, Daniel has developed a strong expertise in the field of zoological medicine. Daniel earned a veterinary degree from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and has completed advanced certifications in zoological medicine from The University of Edinburgh.
