Hashim Ahmed has a strong background in finance and accounting, with extensive experience in executive and leadership roles. Hashim has held positions such as EVP & CFO at Mandalay Resources Corporation and Chief Financial Officer at Nova Royalty Corp. and Jaguar Mining Inc. Ahmed has also served as a Member of the Province of Ontario Internal Audit Committee at the Ontario Government. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Financial Controller at Barrick Gold Corporation and held managerial positions at EY and PwC. Hashim'swork experience spans over two decades and showcases their expertise in financial management and risk advisory services.

Hashim Ahmed is a Chartered Accountant (ACA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW). Hashim is also a Certified Internal Auditor from the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA). In addition, they hold the Chartered Accountant (FCA) designation from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan.
