Jennifer Sharp

Jennifer Sharp is an experienced archivist and library professional with a robust background in collection management, digital cataloging, and project leadership. Currently, Jennifer serves as an Archivist at the Hartford Public Library, overseeing the local history room and managing all aspects of collection acquisition and maintenance. In addition, Jennifer directs the Book Festival and Hartford Jewish Film Festival at the Mandell JCC of Greater Hartford. Previous roles include Project Archivist positions at Trinity College and the Connecticut Historical Society, along with manuscript and database management at institutions like the University of Michigan and Colonial Williamsburg. Jennifer holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Russian Studies and History from Colgate University, a Master’s Degree in American Studies from Trinity College-Hartford, and a Master of Science in Information from the University of Michigan, specializing in Archives and Records Management.
