Dan Caban

Dan Caban is an accomplished professional in the field of digital investigation and forensic computing with extensive experience in incident response and cybersecurity. Currently serving as the Regional Leader for Mandiant Consulting META since October 2014, Dan has held various roles including Director and Senior Manager within the same company. Prior to Mandiant, Dan worked as a Principal Consultant at McAfee Foundstone EMEA and as a Senior Forensic Consultant at Advanced German Technology. Dan's career began at Digital Evidence International Inc., where roles included Director of Cybercrime Investigations, and also included a brief stint with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. Dan holds an MSc in Digital Investigation & Forensic Computing from University College Dublin and a degree from Fleming College.
