Gabriel Simches

Gabriel Simches is a Senior Consultant at Mandiant, specializing in incident response and threat detection in cloud and on-prem environments. With a background in cyber warfare operations for the Vermont Air National Guard and cyber security analysis for the U.S. Air Force Reserve, Gabriel has extensive experience in threat hunting, network forensics, and incident response. Previous roles include cyber threat hunter in the United States Air Force and Genius/Service Desk Technician positions at Apple and Rackspace, where Gabriel developed technical solutions, trained staff, and managed IT support processes. Gabriel holds a Master’s Degree in Managing Innovation and IT from Champlain College, an AAS in Information Systems Technology from the Community College of the Air Force, and a BA in Russian Language and Literature from the University of Vermont.
