Karun Thomas

Karun Thomas is a security consultant currently at Mandiant, part of Google Cloud, specializing in evaluating security programs through simulated active attacks on critical assets. Previously, Karun worked as a senior security consultant at NotSoSecure, Claranet Cyber Security’s training division, where notable achievements included executing internal penetration tests, developing capabilities for Red & Purple Team services, and being recognized as the Most Valuable Performer in 2022. Karun has also held positions at Atos and EY, engaging in Red Team assessments, credential harvesting phishing campaigns, and OSINT gathering. Karun holds a Certified Red Teamer degree from Mossé Cyber Security Institute and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology.
