Melissa Derr

Melissa Derr is an accomplished professional specializing in incident response and digital forensics, with extensive experience spanning over 17 years. Currently, Melissa serves as a Technical Manager and has previously held roles as a Principal Consultant and Senior Consultant at Mandiant (now part of Google Cloud) since January 2021. Prior to this position, Melissa worked at Deloitte as a Specialist Master and held the role of Director of Digital Forensics and Incident Response at Critical Defence. Additionally, Melissa was a VP and Senior Investigator at Citi, where responsibilities included incident response, and earlier was an AVP and IT Business Unit Analyst at the same company, focusing on process automation. Melissa holds a Master's degree in Digital Forensics and Cyber Security from John Jay College (CUNY) and a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
