Jamie Knight

Jamie Knight is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer Team Lead at MandM Direct, where they are responsible for the development of Google Cloud-based back-end software and websites using .NET Core and Angular. Prior to this role, Jamie was a Senior Software Engineer at allpay Limited, where they were involved in analysis, design, development, and support of software and services for financial operations. They also mentored apprentice and junior developers while liaising with QA for effective testing. Before that, Jamie worked as a Software Engineer at Amey, developing BizTalk applications and .NET database applications. They have also gained experience at Herefordshire Council as an Inventory Manager, where they developed and supported highways inventory management software systems. Their responsibilities also included developing applications for Public Rights of Way management, Personnel, and Fleet Management. Jamie's career began at Hereford and Worcester County Council as a Computer Applications Assistant.

Jamie Knight has a background in programming. They attended Worcester Technical College from 1987 to 1989, where they obtained a BTEC Diploma in Computer Studies. Additionally, Jamie has obtained various certifications, including Web API Design, Defensive Coding in C#, and several others from Pluralsight.
