David Ràfols

David Ràfols is an experienced professional with a robust background in research and development across various sectors, particularly in the food industry. Currently serving as the R&D Director for Meat EMEA at MANE since September 2017, David oversees the development of innovative solutions for a range of meat and plant-based products. Previously, David held the position of Chief Technology Officer at Monells S.A. within Grupo Argal, where leadership was provided for R&D, engineering, and quality laboratory departments. David's career includes significant roles such as Managing Director at Innoget, Technology Adviser at ACCIÓ, and Project Manager at Chupa Chups, complemented by engineering experience at Danone and research assistant roles at Fonterra and Universitat de Barcelona. David's educational credentials comprise an MBA, multiple master’s degrees in quality management, microbiology, and biotechnology, along with advanced leadership training.
