John D. Brothers believes in bringing people together to build a stronger community. “What I find most rewarding, what drives my passion, is connecting and engaging people,” he says. A member of the Manet Board of Directors since 2000, he has made a career of community development.
John moved to Massachusetts in 1997 after earning a degree in International Relations and working with the YMCA in Washington, D.C. He Now serves as Executive Director of the Education and Training Branch at YMCA of Greater Boston. Previously he served as Executive Director of Quincy Asian Resources, Inc. (QARI), and Associate Executive Director of the South Shore YMCA in Quincy. Since joining the Manet Board, John has been an active member of the Board Development Committee, helping to recruit new members who reflect the diverse South Shore community.

Manet serves patients from across the South Shore and Southeastern MA, with three locations in Quincy, one in Hull and one in Taunton.
