Danie Benetton

Danie Benetton has a diverse range of work experience. They began their career as a Data Analyst Summer Student at STEMCELL Technologies in 2018. From 2019 to 2019, they worked as a Chemical Engineering Intern at BC Research Inc., where they improved testing times and conducted sedimentation experiments. In 2020, they became a CHBE Python Project Student Assistant at Chemical and Biological Engineering at UBC, creating tutorials and notebooks to aid the department in transitioning to Python. Then, they worked as an Engineering Co-op Student at Cenovus Energy, focusing on Enhanced Oil Recovery from 2020 to 2021. In 2022, they became a Data Analytics Project Assistant at Chemical and Biological Engineering at UBC and later joined Mangrove Lithium as a Test Engineer.

Danie Benetton pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Chemical and Biological Engineering from 2018 to 2022 at The University of British Columbia. Prior to that, from 2017 to 2018, they completed a Certificate in Engineering First-Year at Kwantlen Polytechnic University. Additionally, in June 2017, Danie obtained a DELF B2 certification from the Centre international d'études pédagogiques (CIEP).
