David Novitski, PhD

David Novitski, PhD has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. David is currently working at Mangrove Lithium as the Director of Government Relations and Funding since February 2023. Prior to this, they worked as an Electrochemical Engineer at the same company from January 2022 to February 2023.

From 2020, David worked at Mitacs as a Research Review Coordinator. Before that, they had roles at Nextleaf Solutions (CSE:OILS) where they served as the R&D Lead from January 2021 to November 2021, and as a Quality Control Specialist from May 2019 to January 2021.

David also had experience at Ionomr as a QC Chemist from October 2018 to April 2019, and as a Mitacs Elevate Fellow from October 2017 to September 2018.

In addition, they worked at AFCC Automotive Fuel Cell Cooperation Corp. (AFCC) as a Researcher / Postdoctoral Researcher from July 2016 to September 2017.

David started their career as a Research Assistant at the Alan G. MacDiarmid NanoTech Institute - The University of Texas at Dallas from August 2005 to May 2011. David also gained experience as a Field Service Technician at Diversified Chemical Technologies, Inc. from April 2009 to December 2010.

David Novitski, PhD completed their education in Chemistry with a Bachelor's degree at The University of Texas at Dallas from 2005 to 2009. David then pursued a Master's degree in Chemistry at the same institution from 2009 to 2011. Finally, they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemistry from Simon Fraser University, where they studied from 2011 to 2017.
