Ryan Day

Ryan Day currently serves as the Director of Operations and Pilot Plant Operations Manager at Mangrove Lithium since July 2023. Previously, Ryan held the position of Banting-Berkeley Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of California, Berkeley from July 2021 to July 2023, and worked as a Quantum Chemist at 1QBit from September 2020 to May 2021. Ryan's academic journey includes a postdoctoral fellowship at the Stewart Blusson Quantum Matter Institute and a Ph.D. in Condensed Matter and Materials Physics from The University of British Columbia. Additional experience includes research assistant roles focused on advanced battery studies and graduate work on fermionic optical lattice microscope development at the University of Toronto, leading to a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Physics from the same institution.
