George Calapai, M.Eng, CISA, CRISC, has a diverse work experience in various roles within the technology and auditing fields. George is currently serving as the Vice President of Technology at Mangrove Management Partners. Before that, they worked as the Principal Information Technology Auditor at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston and as the Senior Information Systems Auditor at the same organization. Prior to that, George worked at The TJX Companies, Inc. as an IT Compliance Auditor II. George also gained experience as an IT Auditor at OCD Tech and as a Technical Services Lead at Navin, Haffty & Associates. George has held leadership positions such as Director of Information Technology and IT Manager at InVivo Therapeutics. George began their career as a Desktop Support Technician at Boston Private Bank and as a Lead Technician at Pitney Bowes.

George earned their Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management from Northeastern University, where they studied from 2007 to 2013. In 2020, George enrolled at The George Washington University - School of Engineering & Applied Science and began pursuing a Master of Engineering degree in Cybersecurity Policy and Compliance. George completed this program in 2022. In addition to their formal education, George has obtained several certifications to further enhance their skills and expertise. George received the Certified Information Systems Auditor® (CISA) certification from ISACA in March 2016 and the Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control™ (CRISC) certification, also from ISACA, in August 2016. Furthermore, George obtained the Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in December 2020, demonstrating their knowledge and proficiency in cloud computing.
