Manhattan Beach Unified School District is a destination district and consistently ranks as one of the highest-performing unified school districts in California with its schools and programs receiving numerous honors. 

Our schools have been recognized as a National Green Ribbon district, and as California Distinguished Schools, National Blue Ribbon Schools, and California Gold Ribbon Schools. The District has five elementary schools and one middle and high school.

The Facilities and Maintenance team at Manhattan Beach Unified School District is responsible for ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for students and staff across all school sites. This team handles custodial services, routine maintenance, and repair work, alongside groundskeeping and specialized tasks such as swimming pool maintenance and theater support.
