Matt Higgins

Matt Higgins is an experienced improvisation instructor and training facilitator, currently serving at The Peoples Improv Theater and the City University of New York (CUNY) since 2014 and 2013, respectively. At CUNY, Matt implements curricula to train AmeriCorps Volunteers and provide professional development opportunities for CUNY students, covering essential topics such as project management, goal setting, and communication skills. Additionally, as a teaching artist at MCC Theater since 1999, Matt integrates theater arts into the Humanities curriculum for newly arrived immigrant students, enhancing their communication skills and cultural integration through performance. Matt holds a Bachelor's degree in Theatre from DeSales University.
