Sam Theobald

Sam Theobald is an accomplished theatre professional with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Arts (Performance) from Boston University. Since March 2019, Sam has served as a Writing/Research Assistant for Young Jean Lee, while actively working as a script reader for various theater companies from May 2019 to the present. Notably, Sam has contributed to the Rattlestick Theater’s Terrence McNally New Works Incubator, MCC Theater's season selection process, and served as a script assistant for developmental workshops, including Tom Kitt and Cameron Crowe's "Almost Famous" and Stephen Sondheim and David Ives's "Here We Are." Additionally, Sam has experience in literary management and dramaturgy as an intern at Goodman Theatre and has held technical design and educational roles at Kent Denver School.
