Joe Vargas is a seasoned investigator with extensive experience in law enforcement and private investigation. Currently serving as a Senior Rackets Investigator at the Manhattan District Attorney's Office since August 2021, Joe previously held the position of Private Investigator at JVPI Corps from March 2020 to February 2021. Prior to this, Joe dedicated over two decades to the New York City Police Department, where the role of Detective was held from June 1995 to September 2017. Joe began a career in the United States Marine Corps, serving as a Marine from September 1984 to September 1990. Academically, Joe holds a Bachelor's degree in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management from Manhattan University, which was completed between September 2012 and September 2013.
