Melissa Martinez, LCSW, is a Grant Peer Review Consultant at the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs. Melissa also serves as a Clinical Director in Human Trafficking at the Manhattan District Attorney's Office. Melissa is a Presidential Leadership Scholar and has previous experience as an Adjunct Lecturer in Social Work at Columbia School of Social Work. Their extensive background includes roles such as Inaugural Child Victim Specialist Social Worker and Victim Advocate at the New York County District Attorney's Office. Melissa holds a Master of Social Work degree in Clinical Practice with Individuals & Families from Hunter College.
