Tal Porat is a skilled professional in criminal justice and counterterrorism, currently serving as a Senior Counterterrorism Analyst at the Manhattan District Attorney's Office since August 2021. Tal’s expertise includes utilizing open-source intelligence (OSINT) for investigating individuals linked to extremist groups and preparing supporting documentation for legal processes. Previous roles include Crime Analyst for the NYPD, where Tal analyzed crime patterns and created comprehensive reports, and Security Specialist for Long Island Rail Road, focusing on security threats and intelligence development. Tal holds a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration and a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from the University at Albany.
