Brittany Mejia

Brittany Mejia serves as the Director of Middle School After School Programs at Manhattan Youth, a role held since September 2014, overseeing operations for 23 enrichment programs funded by DYCD. Additionally, Brittany has experience as the Education Director of STEM, managing educational programming across five sites, and as a Program Director at City Knoll Middle School, where responsibilities included budget management for a $350,000 annual program. Previous positions include a Teaching Assistant facilitating student learning and a Math and Science Tutor supporting middle school students. Brittany holds a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from The City College of New York and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Hartford, with research experience in tissue engineering and biomechanical studies.
