Meredith Godsall-Moravek is a dedicated educator and musical director with extensive experience in special education and general education settings. Currently serving as the Broadway Jr. Program Lead and Musical Director at Manhattan Youth since January 2024, Meredith also works as a 6th Grade ICT Teacher at Yorkville East Middle School for the NYC Department of Education. Previous roles include special education positions and content development for NYC DOE special education science programs. Additional consulting experience with Evolved Education Company spans various educational needs from 3K to high school levels. An educational background includes multiple degrees in Special Education and Communications from Touro University, DePaul University, and the College of Saint Benedict, coupled with a strong foundation in music education.

Manhattan Youth
The mission of Manhattan Youth is to create safe spaces for exploring new disciplines, learning new skills, building confidence and cultivating community through engaging and imaginative activities. We realize our mission through after-school programs, summer camps, athletic leagues and a wealth of programming in our Manhattan Youth Downtown Community Center. Working in partnership with parents, schools and community stakeholders, we help families meet the challenge of raising children in the urban environment; we make our city a great place to learn, explore and grow. We ensure families in need have access to our programs by providing generous financial assistance. We seek always to grow in proficiency and empathy as we work to meet the needs of our community. We recognize the dignity of every person we serve, from toddlers to seniors, from the well-to-do to the just-getting-by, and the important role of each of us plays in the vibrant community we create and enrich together.
