Joel Alowa

Joel Alowa began their work experience in 2007 as a Planner at Nome Eskimo Community, where they worked until 2009. In 2014, they joined Maniilaq Association as a Planner, and later served as the Director of Community Health Services from 2016 to 2020. Since September 2020, they have held the role of Director of Behavioral Health Services at Maniilaq Association.

Joel Alowa has pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Alaska Native Studies at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. The specific years of enrollment at the university are not provided.
