Rob Walter has a diverse work experience in various leadership roles in the hospitality and sales industries. In their role as President of Manilow Suites since 2017, they have provided strategic leadership and ensured efficient operations. Prior to that, they worked at BridgeStreet Global Hospitality from 2011 to 2017, where they served as the Regional Director for the Midwest region, managing P&L and achieving significant improvements in efficiencies and net margins. Rob also held the position of Director of Sales for the Midwest region, where they were responsible for sales management, budgeting, and collaboration between sales and operations. Before joining BridgeStreet, Rob Walter worked at Sears Holdings Corporation as a Sales Development Manager from 2009 to 2011, achieving 155% of revenue target and leading the team in securing significant contracts. Rob also worked at Oakwood Worldwide from 2005 to 2009 as an Account Executive, successfully selling corporate housing to Fortune 500 companies and exceeding sales targets. Earlier in their career, they held the position of National Account Coordinator at InterCall, where they achieved sales goals, revived dormant accounts, and won new customers, including prominent companies like Bausch & Lomb and MetLife.
Rob Walter attended Indiana University Bloomington from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Political Science. From 2011 to 2013, they pursued further education at DePaul Driehaus College of Business, earning an MBA degree with a focus on Finance & Operations Management.
