Dr. Anirban Bagchi

Dr. Anirban Bagchi has an extensive work experience in the medical field. Dr. Anirban started their career as a House Surgeon at RG Kar Medical College, Chittaranjan Seva Sadan, and CNCI, where they worked from October 2001 to March 2004. Dr. Anirban then worked as a Medical Resident at the Institute of Pulmocare & Research from December 2004 to July 2005, where they gained knowledge and experience in pulmonary care and ICU management.

Dr. Bagchi later joined Visakhapatnam Steel Plant as a Medical Officer from August 2005 to May 2007. In this role, they attended to clinical cases in a mines township Health Center and managed its operations. From June 2009 to November 2009, they served as the Manager of Medical Services at Global Hospital, where they supervised diagnostic services, corporate desk, and worked on achieving NABH accreditation.

Dr. Anirban then worked as a Hospital Administrator at Manipal College of Medical Sciences, MEMG Nepal P. Ltd. from December 2009 to September 2014. Following that, they served as the Deputy Medical Superintendent at Medica Superspecialty Hospital Pvt. Ltd. from September 2014 to September 2016.

Dr. Bagchi joined Narayana Health as a Medical Superintendent from February 2017 to November 2017. Dr. Anirban then worked as the Senior General Manager of Medical Services at Jaslok Hospital & Research Centre from January 2018 to November 2018. After that, they joined Surya Hospitals as the Head of Medical Services from January 2019 to July 2021.

Currently, Dr. Bagchi holds the position of Chief Manager of Medical Services at Manipal Health Enterprises Pvt. Ltd, starting from August 2021.

Dr. Anirban Bagchi completed their Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from the University of Calcutta between 1995 and 2001. Dr. Anirban later pursued a Master of Hospital Administration degree specializing in Hospital Administration/Management at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences from 2007 to 2009.
