Msc Jessie Lapsley P. Eng

Jessie Lapsley, MSc, P. Eng, currently serves as a Senior Engineer at Transgrid since January 2021, focusing on solar and wind farm interconnection studies for the Australian grid. Additionally, Lapsley has been an Engineer In Training at Manitoba Hydro International since January 2019. Previous experience includes a role as a MITACS Intern at RTDS Technologies Inc., where Lapsley investigated circulating current use for emulating inertia in VSC-based systems, and as a Manager at Prairie Ink Restaurant and Bakery. Lapsley also gained technical support experience at Manitoba Hydro during the summer of 2017. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Manitoba, completed in October 2022, and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from the same institution, earned in 2018.
